Promark Rebound 5B Hickory Acorn Wood Tip Drumsticks

Percussion instructor and shop owner Herb Brochestein founded Promark back in 1957, in Houston, Texas where it’s still based today! Since it’s first years, Promark has became a widely known stick company, being the first company to introduce Japanese Shira-Kashi white oak into the American market, successfully becoming the only company to market oak sticks in the United States, and, in 2011, they became part of D’Addario. More recently, they have chosen to use non-endangered wood and a “green” finishing process, this makes their sticks and manufacturing process safer to each of their players and to the environment!

The Rebound series from Promark features a custom 3″ ‘Rebound Taper’ which shifts the balance towards the back of the stick for a lighter hit, creating a feel that is perfect for jazz, funk and gospel. The Select Balance line gives players the opportunity to find the best drumstick for their playing style. Made from high quality hickory wood, the Rebound drumsticks offer resilience, responsiveness and durability, making them the most popular choice of wood for that classic feel. The acorn wood tip provides a larger surface area that hits the drum, increasing the responsiveness and articulation.
